My brewpot is a Polar Ware 40 quart heated by a high pressure propane burner.  The wort from the brewpot is filtered through a pancake filter (see below) and is cooled by a counterflow chiller.  The chiller design is by Doug Brown and drops the wort to 70 - 75 degrees F using my well water as the coolant.   (Note:  photo shows an earlier version of the RIMS heater.)
The pancake filter was built directly from Sid Collins' plans and instructions.  The 30 mesh stainless steel cloth is merciless on your fingers during assembly but the final product is really worth the effort.  The filter does a great job of keeping the big stuff, like whole hops, out of the primary.
